Terms of use

These terms govern your use of The Sky Hero and any booking you make through it. By making a booking you agree to them. Please read them alongside our fare conditions and privacy policy.

1. Who you are dealing with

The Sky Hero is operated by [not configured] ([not configured]), of [not configured]. We act as an agent for the airlines whose fares we display. We are not an airline and we do not operate any flight.

2. What your booking is

When you book, we arrange a contract of carriage between you and the operating airline. That contract is subject to the airline’s conditions of carriage and the rules of the specific fare you buy. We show you the key fare conditions — changes, refunds, baggage — before you pay, and you confirm you have read them as part of checkout.

Your booking is confirmed only when the airline issues a booking reference and we display it to you. Until then, nothing is reserved, regardless of what any earlier screen showed.

3. Prices

All prices are in AUD and include taxes, fees and carrier charges. We do not add a card surcharge or a separate booking fee at checkout.

Airline prices are live and can change at any time, including while you are completing a booking. If the price changes before your booking is confirmed, we will stop and show you the new price. We will never charge you an amount you have not agreed to.

If a price is displayed that is obviously and substantially wrong — a manifest error — we may decline the booking and refund you in full. We will tell you promptly if that happens.

4. Your obligations

• Traveller names must exactly match the passport or photo ID that will be presented at check-in. Airlines can refuse boarding on a mismatch, and most charge to correct a name.
• You are responsible for passports, visas, transit permissions, health requirements and any other entry condition. We do not check these and cannot advise on them.
• Contact details you give us are passed to the airline and used for disruption notices. Keep them current and reachable.
• You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract to make a booking.

5. Changes, cancellations and refunds

Set out in full in our fare conditions, including the 24-hour window in which you can cancel with us for a full refund of what you paid us.

6. Our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the relevant service or paying the cost of having it resupplied.

Because we act as an agent, we are not liable for the airline’s performance of the carriage itself — delays, cancellations, denied boarding, baggage handling and onboard service are the airline’s responsibility under its conditions of carriage and the applicable international conventions. We are responsible for our own services: the accuracy of what we display, the correctness of the booking we make on your instructions, and the support we provide afterwards.

We are not liable for loss you could have avoided by taking reasonable steps, or for losses neither party could reasonably have anticipated.

7. Availability of this site

We aim to keep The Sky Hero available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Search results depend on airline systems that are outside our control.

8. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, automate, resell or overload this site, attempt to circumvent its security, or make speculative or fraudulent bookings. We may refuse service or cancel a booking where we reasonably believe this has happened.

9. Complaints

Contact us first — most things are fixable quickly. If we cannot resolve it, you may be able to take the matter to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission or to the consumer affairs body in your state or territory.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the version published when you made it, and we keep a dated copy of each version.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of that state have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
